3.2 Pre-School Presentation - Hudson the Hedgehog book and puppet show

Pre-schoolers have the best sense of humor when it comes down to read time or play time. They will blurt out random questions that they have from story time, or yell random things when they play with their friends. Today, I went to visit the pre-schoolers to read them a book I wrote for them and to present a puppet show for them that was about my book. Presenting my book and puppet show was very interesting. Seeing the kids faces light up with excitement was the best feeling ever.

Although I was quite nervous about presenting my last minute puppet show, it did not turn out as bad as I thought. The kids loved the book and had many, many questions about it. "Why is there a hedgehog in your book? Hedgehogs don't go to school," some of the students asked.

After I read my book to them, I introduced them to Hudson the Hedgehog, Halee the Hedgehog, and Greta the Goat. Explaining their friendship, the students clapped and cheered that Hudson made friends. The students seemed so happy that the little lonely hedgehog finally made some friends.

Once I was done with both of my presentations, I spoke with my classmates about their experiences with their presentations and how the students reacted. They seemed to react very similarly. Some drew pictures for them, others clapped and wanted them to stay and read another book. Seeing the pre-school students made my day.

Jim Carrey is one of the best actors out there. Whether he is making jokes in his movies that are out of script or he is putting his acting career to the test, he will always be a fan favorite comedian and actor. (Description)

Jim Carrey has an amazing sense of humor. Watching his movies makes me think about my dad because they have similar humor. My dad claims Jim Carrey stole his jokes because he uses the jokes he makes during his movies all of the time. When we have a family night, me and my dad agree on watching a Jim Carrey movie that we know every line to. Another good thing about his humor is that he uses it in all of his movies. In his movie Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, he says “Alrighty then” to finish a conversation in the funniest and most annoying way possible. In that same movie, Jim Carrey made a few of his own funny lines that the director decided to keep. His sense of humor brings out the happiness and true laughs of his fans.

He is a great actor with many world famous movies. I love his movies, most of them are quite popular. His most popular movies are Liar Liar, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and The Truman Show. Liar Liar is a fan favorite movie with over $45 million budget. He also played in my favorite movie, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. He became famous at the age of 31 after the movie Ace Ventura came out. He was known before the movie, but became world known after the sequel, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, because of his funny acting and how well he played the role of Ace Ventura. Though he was an actor, he is now famous for many more things.

Now that he is retired, he does more stand up comedy. He started stand up comedy at the age 15. He has always loved making people laugh at his jokes. He also enjoys being in front of people doing what he does best, acting and comedy. Living in Toronto, Canada, Jim Carrey only shows in his hometown, or closeby. Being retired from acting, he wants to stay closer to home and stick to comedy. While he does stay in his hometown, showings of his comedy shows play on TV for more people to see. In fact, he does care about his fans being happy.

Whether or not you would like to meet my famous person, Jim Carrey, he is a very important person that most people would enjoy meeting. His humor, acting, and comedy career are one of my favorite things about him, and might be one of yours, too. Meeting him could be a dream come true. (Look to the future)
